Top Sunni cleric in Kurdistan: "Solidarity is only solution for resistance"

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Top Sunni cleric in Kurdistan and Head of Islamic Center in Marivan area, Mamousta Othman Karimi in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) underscored the necessity and importance of unity among Muslims from different Islamic sects and called on them to keep their solidarity so as to against Takfiri and other extremist groups in the region. The religious cleric mentioned that the enemies of Islam religion try to project a very harsh image of Muslims in Islamic countries in a bid to manipulate them and take the control of their resources. “The idea of democracy proposed by the West for Muslim countries brought nothing except chaos and unremitting political and social meltdown in the region,” said the cleric stating that in the here and now the lives of many innocent Muslims are about be claimed in the wake of such fact. “Western countries try to plunge Muslim societies into a plagued situation,” underscored the Sunni scholar. He went on to say, “To forward their willful aims they try to egg on some groups and for want of a better words, these infidels are about to fight with Muslims and Quranic teachings or instructions.” “Democracy which claimed to bring positive consequences in Afghanistan and Iraq had no result except carnage, massacre, destroying the code of ethics and humane values,” mentioned Mamousta Othman Karimi. “At the very present moment they want to accelerate the process of spreading such chaos to other countries,” underlined the religious cleric. “The religious cleric pointed to scores of bombs blast every day in Iran’s neighboring countries which claim many a life of innocent people including children and women,” mentioned the Sunni religious pundit. The learned scholar said, “But due to God’s help and on account of guidance of Iran Supreme Leader of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khaameni, the military and security forces could bring safety and security to the country.” In another line of speech, Mamousta Othman Karimi mentioned “It is proven beyond a shadow of doubt, solidarity and rapprochement are , indeed, the only solutions for foiling the enemies plots,” He wrapped up his remarks by urging Muslims to be cognizant and vigilance of all the plots by the enemies./149
